Circuit Court Here Delivers Not Guilty Verdict in Thompson Case

Robberies and alarms shuffle through Battle Creek scene

Burglars pried open a dry goods store and stole 16.80, leaving chisels behind. A drayman was held up near the C J M track, escaping with about two dollars. Additional thefts include harness from a barn and shirts from a sanitarium. A 16 year old boy was released after promising to return to Canada. A gas fire scare at a residence ended with extinguished flames and injuries. Hood's Pills advertised as reliable.

Malendar Pair entertains at Presbyterian church Ald society

The Malendar Pair event at the Presbyterian church parlors on Monday and Tuesday evenings featured Anniquel representing the seven days of the week with rich musical and literary programs.
