Nominations at Calhoun County Republican Convention
The county Republican convention in Calhoun adopted a unified ticket after lengthy ballots and speeches. Geo. Ingersoll received the Probate judgeship nomination, while J. Prentice won the sheriff nod, with Miller for clerk and Geddes for register of deeds, among others. The assembly adjourned after formal ballots and songs from local glee clubs.
