Miss HE Espana Mrs Janet Fort Spalding Dies

Mrs Janet Fort Spalding of Auburn Iowa born October 18 1808 married to Aaron L Spalding died April 14 1890 in Marshall Michigan after long illness with paraly sis and blindness. She left no children but two sisters live in New York state and is remembered as a patient devout Christian and faithful stepmother.

Memorial notices of Cronin and Hobbs in Marshall district

An April 11 to 12 obituary shows Cronin of Marshall Mich and Hobbs wife Laura J Cronin died in Olivet Mich. Cronin born Ypallanti Washtariaw County Mich 1836 and moved to Marshall as a youth. He and brother Thomas Cronin launched a grocery in 186? A large funeral at St Marys church noted his death after septicemia following toe amputation. Laura J Hobbs died in Marshall April 12 and her husband delivered a grave side tribute praising her gentleness and faith.
