Students Schedule May 20 Vote on Name Change
Marshall High School students and eighth graders from Marshall Middle and Mar-Lee School will vote May 20 on a new nickname. More than 1000 students are expected to cast ballots from four options. Ian Steward leads the student council in the process, with input from faculty and eighth grade reps as they prepare final four choices for the school board’s June decision.

Lions lineman Hall to guest speak at Marshall camp
Detroit Lions lineman Hall, a 1990s Michigan star, will headline the Doug Leares Football Camp at Marshall High School Field on May 11 from 9 to 12 45 pm. Open to 3rd through 7th graders, the $10 fee covers a camp shirt and includes an autograph session and raffle.

Mark Webb Named Newest Marshall City Council Member
Mark Webb was introduced at the April 15 Marshall City Council meeting to fill the 5th Ward seat after Paul Beardsiee resigned.
