Miss Rose D Schafer of Clay County Indiana married Mr John Goekler of Clark County Ohio at 12 o clock Sunday December 27 at the brides parents home three miles north of Clay City. Best man was Louis Schafer and maid of honor Eva Rubotteen of Coal City Inn. Rev E Mit che officiated. A splendid wedding dinner followed for guests. The couple plan to reside on Mr Goekler's Marshall area farm five miles north of Marshall.
The Westfield Review reports progress on the O W M T H Railway line with plans to begin work next year. Indiana end to be incorporated soon after holidays. A bond issue for the full line may be floated. Local support for lithographing bonds and fees could help ensure early construction.
