Death by Hanging Found Suspended From Beam
Mrs Samuel Weaver of Lee township committed death by her own action Friday morning at her home by hanging herself to a beam in the barn. The deed was done shortly after breakfast when a hired man found her about 8 30. A half inch rope looped over a ladder supported the noose as she apparently jumped from the ladder. She was 70 years old and leaves a husband and two sons. Her daughter died last fall, thought to have weighed on her mind. Miles Weaver Eckford and Herbert Weaver Lee are named. Jacob Goodrich will open a market for fall fruit next week.

Bromm Sentenced to Life at Tomaree Reformatory
James HW Bromm, convicted of murdering Molly Flagler in Dimondale, received a life sentence to Tomaree Reformatory by Judge Smith. He was committed to the reform school on Friday at 10 a.m and transported there Saturday morning.
