Caught in Elevator Accident at Sanitarium
Ray Blackett of Battle Creek suffered a painful accident Monday at the sanitarium when he jerked an elevator rope to raise it from the basement. He became stuck between the door and the elevator frame, abdomen and lower back pinched, for about 20 minutes before rescuers tore away the door casing and freed him. He received medical aid and is resting comfortably.
