A car accident occurred about halfway between Mosey and Fort Forty at 4:00 a m Wednesday. One person was taken to a clinic. State Trooper Tarr investigated the wreck.

King Attends Educational Chiropractic Seminar

Dr. H. E. King of Marshall returned from Fort Worth Texas where he took part in the Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation Seminar and Congress. The event covered headaches including migraine and non migraine cases back ache nervousness and other common chiropractic concerns with advances in neurological and orthopedic exams spinal alignment posture and fitness. Dr. James Parker president praised doctors for their efforts to learn the latest research benefiting patients as attendees came from nearly all states several Canadian provinces and other countries.

Scout Night Seeks New Members At School

Pack 81 invites boys eight years and older and Webelos to a school night on September 29 at 7 00 p m in the South School all purpose room. The Eckle unit of Home Extension meets the third Tuesday in October with Mrs Thelma Ohm, one week later than the regular date.

Fire damages home as Miller residence burns in Marshall

About 2 30 Wednesday morning the home of Mr and Mrs Victor C Miller at 615 North Sixth Street caught fire. Damages were estimated at 2000 to 2500 before the fire department arrived. Also listed are several marriage licenses and a birth announced: a boy Thomas Allen born to Creal Clark and family at 715 Beech Street.

Rally Day Dedication at Marshall Christian Church in 1949
