Noted Oklahoma Preacher Bishop McIntyre Dies in Chicago
Robert McIntyre a prominent Methodist bishop born in Scotland in 1851 died in Wesley Hospital Chicago after attending Michigan conferences en route to Oklahoma City. He led Marshall Kenwood and St James churches, inspired a new Chicago church, wrote poetry and prose, and was elected bishop in 1908 with burial planned in Oklahoma City. survived by his wife two daughters and a son.
