Large Barn Burns on Knowles Farm Near Marshall
Clyde Knowles will rebuild a 40 by 60 foot dairy barn after a Sunday morning fire destroyed the structure and silo at his Knowles farm on the north edge of Marshall. Loss is estimated at 4000 dollars with 1750 dollars insured. Forty tons of hay and 100 tons of ensilage burned. defective wiring is suspected. Marshall Fire Department saved surrounding buildings.

Small Girl Injured in Tuesday Car Wreck
Mr and Mrs Dick Davidsons daughter sustained a slight injury Tuesday evening when their Ford sedan struck a new Dodge sport coupe owned by Ted Berry of Robinson on South Sixth street in front of Burns D Smiths home. The Ford lost a front wheel and damaged the fender while the Dodge had its headlights bumper and radius rod broken. No one in the Dodge was hurt.

Office force of Ohio Oil Co moves to new building
The Ohio Oil Company moved its offices into a new two story brick structure on South Fifth Street after a Friday December 1927 fire. The building houses a map department, geology and land offices, a central hall, and upstairs offices including E L Taylor office superintendent with a large vault nearby. Heating is provided by a large oil burning furnace drawing from a buried 1000 gallon tank and the Buckeye blower ventilates year round.
