Injured Man Suffers Four Broken Ribs in Farm Wagon Accident
Chris Curran of R. 3 Marshall was thrown from a farm wagon at his home last Sunday. He was brought to St. Anthony Hospital Terre Haute where doctors found four broken ribs. He is reported improving.

Twenty years ago in 1943 marriage licenses were issued to Harlan G Smith and Dorothy F Ashby both of Casey and to Martin P Tarble and Rita M Geheb both of Marshall. The Rollings farm home northeast of Marshall was destroyed by fire last Friday night with few contents saved. W L Kirby 91 died at his home west of Clarksville with services at Blue Grass Church and burial there. Donald Abel and wife returned to Scott Field after a ten day visit with their parents.
