Donald English died of influenza at Hdgewood Maryland while in camp. His body to be brought to Marshall for burial with arrival time unsure. He enlisted as a volunteer months ago and died for the cause. Rollo Brown of Johnson township died at Camp Taylor of influenza. His body sent home last Thursday. Corporal Harry Mason, born in Marshall, died Friday of pneumonia at Fort Bliss Texas. He served in the 314th Cavalry.

Harry Blaikie died Saturday at his home in Indianapolis of influenza. He was 38, son of Charles and Cora Blaikie, born in Marshall and raised in Mt. Carmel. He moved to Indianapolis years ago and married a woman there about a year ago. Funeral services and burial were in Mt. Carmel Monday.
