George Russell Thompson a former Marshall resident died Wednesday November 18 from a heart attack at his Nashville Illinois home. He leaves his widow Ruby and seven children including Mrs Fred Pentington Mrs Herman Hoenig Mrs W H Outright Russell Donald Eugene Ian Antonio and Richard along with twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Private funeral services were held Sunday November 22 at Mann Funeral Home Nashville and burial followed at West St Paul cemetery.
