A swine management program for Clark county pig club members is set at Martinsville High School Tuesday November 22 at 7 30 p m. R E Apple farm advisor states the event aims to aid care from farrowing to weaning. Dr B L Strohl county veterinarian will discuss pig feed care and management and C W Stephenson a Mattoon Duroc breeder will cover care of pregnant sows. A two reel film Exit Ascaris will explain swine sanitation.
Muriel McCarty son of Mr and Mrs Dick McCarty of near Spiketown was sent to jail Tuesday for failing to meet a 1500 bond after a hearing in Squire Thomas Craigs court on a paternity charge filed by Opal Anacker daughter of Chas Anacker.
Greenville man Hurst was fined 3.00 and costs totaling 6.40 in Squire Thomas Craig's court for disturbing the peace. The complaint was filed by Joe Cline.
An infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Horner of Indianapolis died Saturday and was buried in Brick cemetery Monday. Charles F. Wesser, 74, died at his Wabash township home. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM at the residence with Rev. Bert Eckle officiating. Burial followed in Macke Cemetery.

About 128 people attended a Wednesday evening banquet at the Methodist church honoring the football boys. Birch Bayh, Terre Haute schools physical education director, spoke on athletics in all its branches. Miss Mary Johnson sang solo, with Junior McGee captain of Marshall and Coach Don Ping adding remarks.

The November term grand jury returned 11 indictments during a three day session that adjourned Wednesday afternoon. Cases include People v Fred Nees John Michael Harry Robison Emery Hurst Frank Bradley Charles Williams William Bradley John Higgins James Hartsell and Wm Hartsell. Court actions list civil and chancery filings with verdicts judgments dismissals and master reports through November 1927.
Marshall boys defeated Robinson 12 to 0 here Friday with strong line play and key scores by Buckner on a long interception return and Clark on a late punt block. Marshall plans to play Findlay at Findlay and then visit Casey next Thursday for the annual Ohio Illinois battle.
