Marshall Chamber of Commerce sent Ronald Rayhel and Luther Morris of Illinois to the National DECA conference in Atlantic City New Jersey. The two local chapter members joined 3000 delegates for workshops and meetings with national business leaders. Alaska became the 50th state inducted into the organization during a ceremonial charter presentation.

Don Oren Medsker 77 of 215 North 8th Street Marshall died Tuesday at home. Born May 6 1892 in Clark county he served Marshall as assistant postmaster 40 years. The house-to-house canvass for restoring and renovating the old McCann House to become the Clark County Museum is complete with $967.55 raised from West Union and Marshall residents.
