Marshall retail stores will close Saturday May 30 in observance of Memorial Day. They will stay open until 9 00 p m Friday May 29 for shopping convenience. Marshall Chamber of Commerce Retail committee Miss Pamela Prusett, daughter of Mr and Mrs Vernon Prulett, underwent a tonsillectomy at Union Hospital on Thursday.

Forty two members and Patrol Supervisor G C Hartman attended as teams formed for softball and races, with merit certificates and medals to be awarded to students from South and North Schools for accident free patrol crossings and leadership.
