Fire destroys tire works at West Union
A destructive blaze in West Union Saturday totally destroyed the tire works, discovered around noon. The loss runs to about 3500 with no insurance, caused by a spark from the noon south-bound train. The factory belonged to Volney Mount and Emory Snyder and firemen barely kept it from spreading to nearby buildings.
