Small Girl Injured by Car in Wednesday Incident

Man Appears in Court for Drunkenness and Fined
S. H. Springer of Farmersburg pleaded guilty to drunkenness in Judge Janney's court and received a $50 fine plus costs and a 20 day jail sentence. He was arrested by Sheriff Turner after a car wreck east of Marshall and transported for trial. Mrs. Harold Kane of Los Angeles, jailed with husband on concealed weapons charges, was released on a $500 bond. her husband remains jailed. Frank Hawkins was arrested in Westfield by Sheriff Turner and taken to Marshall on Shelby county charges.
