Beginning May first the Clark County Farm Bureau will hold community meetings across the county featuring motion pictures. An admission of 10 cents will be charged for all viewers over five years old. Kansas and Westfield Road Sold at Sheriff Sale
The Kansas and Westfield railway running through Edgar and Clark counties with its terminal at two points was sold at sheriff sale Saturday in Parla for 6000 dollars to Price and Cooley of Brocton. They also bought the Coles county line and plan the southern terminal at Casey. It is understood the operation of the road will be continued by the new owners.

Car overturns injures no one near Riverton
Friday near Springfield C A Purdun and W T Hollenbeck were riding home when the car they were in turned over after leaving Springfield for Riverton. The top was wrecked and repairs were required before returning to Marshall. Both occupants escaped injury and the incident caused damage to the vehicle.

NO YONG PARK TO SPEAK AT MARSHALL CHURCH
No Yong Park plans to speak at the Marshall Methodist church at 7 30 PM on Wednesday. Known as the Oriental Patrick Henry among Koreans and Oriental Mark Twain among Americans he is the first Oriental in the United States to have a nationwide radio broadcast of his message.
