Death of Mrs Littlefield in Indianapolis tied to Marshall line
Mrs Margaret Littlefield died yesterday at her daughter's home in Parapelis after a several weeks illness. She was about 65, born in Marshall and lived there most of her life before moving to Indianapolis. Daughter of Hubert Benedict, sister of Mrs T J Golden and Mrs P Robinson, she married Chester Littlefield once publisher of the Marshall Messenger. She leaves three children Dick, Mary and Thomas. Dick was shot by William Benedict. The body returns to Marshall for a 10 a.m. funeral at St Mary’s Church.
