18th District Auxiliary Midwinter Meeting Held in Marshall
Mrs. Betty Francis president of the Marshall American Legion Auxiliary will host the eighteenth district midwinter meeting at the Legion Home in Marshall on Thursday March 12. All members are urged to volunteer and register by Monday as fifty units are expected. Mrs. Virginia Lundsberg of Danforth Illinois district director will run the morning and afternoon sessions and the Marshall auxiliary chair will present a post luncheon program. Mrs. Max Zschau Jr. is 18th district chair of Illini Girls State.

Fireworks Peddler Arrested in Marshall
