The Federal Power Commission granted Marshall Martinsville and Casey gas allocations from a pipeline near State Line. Central Illinois Public Service Co. withdrew its appeal last week, allowing the cities to proceed with municipal gas utilities and sign up prospective customers in Marshall. The Marshall board completed faculty assignments for 1964-65. Maxine Davidson, long time high school cafeteria worker, resigned and Rose Shotts was hired to fill the vacancy. The board authorized Dulaney National Bank as depository for the school year. Meetings date moved to August 6. Funds moved: $13,000 from educational to building and $3,480 from educational to transportation to finish the year.

Henry L Saiter Dies in Indianapolis at 49
Henry L Saiter, age 49, died Sunday at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. A Marshall native, he lived in Indianapolis 22 years and was a supervisor in mechanical assembly at the Naval Avionics Facility. He survived by wife Marie Imle Saiter, two children Dan and Julie, and his mother Mrs. Frank Saiter of Marshall. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel with burial in Indianapolis. He was a member of Millersville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Muret Shrine, and Irvington Methodist Church.
