Hayworth for the east Clark County to near Martinsville segment at 526 585.52 dollars J W Etchison for the middle section to near Greenup Cumberland County at 304 780.11 dollars and Hays and Son for the Cumberland County section at 294 554.39 dollars The project costs about 750000 dollars to be paid by auto license fees The concrete road will be 16 feet wide with some 18 foot portions Martinsville gains a free main street paving and traffic detours are planned during construction This closes the National Road to through traffic while work proceeds
