National Farm Safety Week Aims to Cut Farm Accidents
July 21 27 is National Farm Safety Week. O L Hogsett of the University of Illinois warns of high farm hazards. The Illinois Rural Safety Council projects 1957 will see one in 17 farm residents injured, 48 fatalities daily, a disabling injury every 109 seconds, and over one million dollars in annual farm accident costs.
