Judge Scholfield adjourned circuit court proceedings until Monday after a day of varied dockets. Multiple cases saw dismissals or dispositions, with decisions on foreclosure partitions and divorces, including custody rulings and final distributions.
John H Brooks transfers a lot to Edward Pollard for fourteen thousand dollars. The notice includes a church event schedule with a Sunday school at 9 30 a m and a preaching service at 3 p m along with a Wednesday prayer meeting, and a welcome for attendees.

Friday evening a carriage overturned on West Main Street while avoiding a car. Passengers Mrs Emma Lockard suffered a broken wrist and facial cuts, Miss Mary Miller was severely bruised, and Mrs Mary Cooper escaped with only minor injuries.
