Commander James M. Hornbrook son of Mr and Mrs J R Hornbrook of Marshall completed Marshall High School class of 1942 and rose through Rose Poly Tech Institute Naval Academy 1947. He served on USS Fargo USS Siskin USS Joyce USS Park and USS Enterprise before joining USS Dupont DD 941 as flagship of the 22nd destroyer squadron in the Mediterranean.
