Evansville Man Dies in Marshall After Heart Attack
Mrs. Erle W. Henn of Evansville Indiana and her husband were returning from Paris Illinois when he suffered a heart attack near routes 1 and 40 just north of Marshall. He died at Dr George Mitchells office at age 57. The body was taken to Marrs Funeral Home for inquiry by the coroner. He is survived by a widow and a son Robert Henn of McLeansboro Illinois. Funeral services will be held Saturday at Myers Funeral Home with burial at Parklawn Cemetery in Evansville.

Jule Gore Passes Away in Florida
Funeral services for Jule L. Gore 55 were held at Moore Funeral Home with Rev J Arnold Olsen officiating. Burial followed in Forsythe Cemetery. Drag racers face jail time after near miss on Route One
State Patrolman John Gagen avoided an accident on Route One south of Marshall and obtained the car license numbers of drag racers Jack Ziegler and Jerry Nave. They were arraigned before Police Magistrate Raymond Buechler and sentenced to thirty days in Clark county jail. Ziegler will serve twenty weekends due to family conditions.
