Two inmates escaped from Michigan City Indiana penitentiary entered the World War Marvin store at West Union on Wednesday and stole jackets and overalls valued at 11 dollars each They took twenty four one dollar bills five and sixteen dollars in white money They fled in a red GMC pickup No T16681 with Indiana plates bearing Conservation on door The suspects described as 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall weigh 175 and 184 pounds were at large with no confirmed addresses.

Mrs. Pearl Sturdevant of Casey died Monday morning at Union Hospital Terre Haute aged 72 after seven weeks with a heart ailment. She is survived by husband B. B.
