He taught school and studied history, married Lizzie Knox January 1 1894. converted to Church of God in the eighties. He died after a stroke at 10 am and 9 pm funeral held at Livingston church with Rev E G Sandmeyer. interment Livingston cemetery.

Fleming R. Irwin died at his east city home Sunday after a long illness. Born near Marshall August 26 1862 he was 52. He married Kate Lowry about 27 years ago and had seven children, only one surviving him. He joined the United Brethren church years ago and was known for hard work. Survived by his wife one son three brothers and one sister. Funeral at the family residence Monday conducted by J A Sweet and H Huston. Interment in city cemetery.

Death of Charles T Dolan of Chicago
Charles T Dolan 28 died last Wednesday at the home of his uncle Hugh Ferry on North Sixth Street after an acute stomach illness. Funeral services were Saturday at St Marys church with burial in the parish cemetery. He leaves a wife and one daughter and was visited by his mother Mrs Mullins of Paris sister Miss Belle Mullins of Alliance Neb and relatives Jesse Dolan of Detroit James Dolan and Mr and Mrs Tif Dolan of Chicago.

Clark County Board Approves State Aid Road Action
The Clark County Board of Supervisors met in special session January 28 to approve state aid road plans and to grant a right of way petition for an electric line along the National Road from Marshall to Martinsville.
