Farmer Loses Leg in Tractor Accident Near Marshall
Robert A. Johnson, about 30, on a farm southwest of Marshall in Anderson township, tried to pull a car with a tractor when it skidded and pinned him to a tree. A wrecker from Marshall released him after 30 to 60 minutes, and he was rushed to Union Hospital Terre Haute where doctors amputated his left leg near the hip.
