Samuel Malone son of Wm Jr and Eunice Malone was born February 5 1883 and died December 16 at his sister Mrs Clarence Prevo’s home on Walnut Prairie after a long illness He leaves four sisters Mrs Clarence Prevo Mrs Wm Lindley Mrs Delia Shaw and Mrs R C Shoemaker and a brother Gus of Covina California The funeral was led by Rev Shuck and interment was near Beulah church despite bad weather A large crowd attended and the family thanks neighbors for support

Clark county records the death of Christian G Goekeler born August 29 1826 in Schwalb Würtemberg Germany He emigrated in 1851 married Christina Bayer in Indianapolis and had 11 children seven surviving He died December 19 aged 85 years 3 months 20 days with wife and four children predeceased He leaves five sons and two daughters 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren Funeral led by Rev I H Griesemer and Rev Prince at Clarksville Baptist church burial followed.
