Carpet stain remedies from a university home guide
A University of Illinois home furnishings specialist recommends removing cranberry sauce from carpets by picking up excess quickly and sponging the area with a clean white cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Mix one teaspoon of a soapless detergent in one cup of lukewarm water and apply with an eye dropper. Sponge outward from the stain, then rinse with clean lukewarm water and weight absorbent tissues on the spot to pull out moisture.
