Ovie Draper Arthur Gallatin and Jerome Gallatin were hurt near Carthage Missouri last week when their truck tire blew and the vehicle rolled twice on the way to Vinta Oklahoma. Mrs Wann Dies After Michigan Car Crash Near Livingston

Mrs Borghild Wann aged 62 of Marshall Indiana died from injuries after a car accident on Route 40 near Livingston Illinois. She left a theater in Terre Haute en route home Friday night. Survived by husband Harry A Wann and three daughters with relatives in Illinois Missouri and Norway. Memorial service held at Marrs Funeral Home officiated by Dr Don Thompson. Mrs Wann belonged to several clubs and the Unitarian Universalist Church in Terre Haute.

Marshall Board to Meet. Lunch Workshop Hears Officials

The Marshall Community Schools board will convene at 7 p m Thursday December 14 in the Central Administration offices. Jefferson Junior High hosted a School Lunch Workshop from 4 to 8 p m December 5 with state officials answering questions and discussing lunches. School leaders including Don McNary and Bertha Kammacher met Marshall alumni now at Indiana State University to discuss preparation for higher education and university information for students. Clark County superintendents met in Martinsville December 6 to address issues in school programs.

Marshall Area Music Teachers Christmas Concert

The Marshall area Music Teachers present the second annual Christmas Concert on Sunday December 19 at Marshall Baptist Church. Two performances start at 2:90 pm and 3:30 pm with about 75 students of all levels playing Christmas favorites on three pianos and an organ. The public is invited to attend.
