Obituary of George Chester Mundorf, Navy veteran and teacher
George Chester Mundorf born July 24 1890 at Owensboro Kentucky died at Phillipsburg Ohio after illness aged 24 years 3 months 27 days. He served in the U S Navy from 1910 to 1914 and taught in Hamlet Indiana early in life. Funeral services were held in Phillipsburg and his remains interred in Marshall cemetery with ministers from Marshall Terre Haute and Dayton officiating. He leaves his parents two sisters and three brothers with one brother predeceased.
