Eliza Dean born in Darwin township on November 22 182 died August 20 at age 74 years 8 months 28 days. She married Thomas J Dean of Wabash township at nineteen and was preceded by a husband two infant children and daughter Prima Maurer. Survived by son Allen Dean three brothers James Samuel McClure Burns McClure and many relatives. Funeral at her home led by Rev D H Rupp and Rev F M Buckner with interment in Dean cemetery.
