Worship notes show Pastor Evangelical Da Kroft leading Zion Sunday school and prayer meetings. Services at 10 36 am with a sermon by Rev Ferguson Finkbiner and Albert Pinatwinner. Emanuel Sunday service at 9 30 am with sermon by Rev John Mundorf of Marshall. midweek prayer gatherings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Myrtle Kile daughter of Henry and Ida Kile of Allright was born March 1 1897 in Melrose township and died August 16 1927 in Terre Haute age 30 years 5 months 9 days She was converted at seventeen under I E Miller at Union United Brethren church and lived a faithful Christian life She leaves her father mother two brothers Orla of Paris II and Elvin of Granada Minn three sisters Mrs Zelia Saiter Marshall Mrs Nellie Cline West Union Mrs Edith … The funeral was at the Ohio church conducted by JA Stout burial near the church Mr and Mrs H W Kile and family thank friends for kindness and sympathy.
Sunday school meets at 9 30 2 m and main service at 11 o'clock in the Pythian Temple. Wednesday evening testimonial meeting at eight o'clock with the subject Mind.
Christian Mowery, pastor, conducts Bible school at 9 30 a m with lesson God s Promise to David. During vacation Bro John Carpenter preaches morning and evening at 10 45 a m and 7 30 p m. Junior Endeavor meets weekly led by Mary Davidson and Margaret Grisham. Wednesday service led by Bro John Sweet. next week led by Bro Carpenter. Ladies Aid meets all day Wednesday and each Wednesday afternoon unless announced otherwise.
Pastor Howard Leach will be away the first two Sundays in August. No preaching or Wednesday night services during August. Sunday services on August 21 and 28 at 10 45 AM. Fourth quarterly conference scheduled for August 22 at 7 30 PM.
Mrs Harry Tingley and children called on Mr and Mrs Bruce Spires Sunday afternoon. Miss Faye Harbor works for Mr and Mrs Homer Clark. The Marrs Harbor and Spires families, with Harry Ernest and Lucille Harbor, were in Marshall Saturday. Abel Babcock and family visited Marshall last week. Forest Meloy and children left for Hutchinson Kansas after two weeks nearby. Harry Harbor and family visited Clarksville and Babcock households.
Mr and Mrs E L Stull entertained Sunday dinner with guests including Mr and Mrs Milton Hodge Mr and Mrs Jesse Hodge and children Mr and Chas Roberts and Mr and Mrs Harry Ping and little son all of Casey Mrs E L Bell and daughter were afternoon guests Ed Willoughby and daughter Hazel Forrest Willoughby and son Wayne Carl Willoughby and wife all of Redman Louis Younglove and son Warren of Oneco Fla Peter Pearce Isabel Bubeck of Marshall and Clifford Page of Martinsville

Mr and Mrs F J Hartney of Delta Colorado arrived last Saturday visiting Mrs Hartneys sister Mrs L E Hays and her family. They plan a two month automobile tour to Canada. Various other locals head to Oak Park Illinois St Louis Missouri Windsor Ontario Detroit Michigan and Dearborn Michigan for visits or returns with relatives.
