Mrs Tala Montgomery Hurst widow of Nicholas Hurst and daughter of John Montgomery of this city died Monday at her Indianapolis home after a severe pneumonia attack. Alfreda Biggs born near York Illinois on November 7 1859 died March 30 1918 in Marshall while wintering there with family. She married Elias Bell in 1877 three days later widowed, then Cyrus F Evans in 1881 producing four children Franklin Edward Grace Cyrus all but two died in infancy. Grandchildren include Grace Cooper and Cyrus W Evans. After eight years a widow she married Prevo Ralston in 1895 and had Esther Chester Leah. She joined Mt Olive Baptist church and remained faithful as wife and mother. Surviving are her husband five children one granddaughter three sisters and many relatives and friends. The family thanks friends for kindness during illness.
