Walton 70 Arrested in Marshall Burglary Case
Stanley Walton 36 of 438 West Jefferson Street Vincennes Indiana was arrested after breaking into the Quick Service Station on Locust Street Route 1 Marshall. Officers say he loaded a car with tires cigars cigarettes candy eggs and more before being caught resisting arrest. He previously served time in Indiana on a similar charge. Bond set at 5000 with a second burglary count filed. May call includes inductions and medical exams.

The J. W. Baker old home south of Snyder was completely destroyed Monday afternoon around 1 o clock. West Union firefighters arrived too late to save the building which was occupied by Miss Ona Baker who is wintering in Arneheim California. Fire spread from grass along nearby roads and swept onto the home.
