Ten years ago in 1954 B J Huffington a state highway division engineer son of the county superintendent of Marshall was drilling when a high tension line struck his drilling pipe. He was knocked unconscious burned on hands and legs and taken to Burnham Hospital in Champaign. Hubert HB Irwin 56 supervised city streets in Marshall.
