Lightning strikes church spire amid rainstorm
Our Correspondents report a heavy shower and an electrical storm last Sunday. The church spire was struck by lightning and sustained considerable damage. A new baby boy was born to Mr and Mrs Theo Hinkebein. J Inkebein Theo Holman Joe and George Vanden were in St Louis last week visiting the World's Fair. Our school opened last Monday.
