Union Station Opens for Travel in St Louis
The new Union Station in St Louis was formally opened for travel last Saturday night with exercises. About 50,000 people visited it that evening. It is a Romanesque structure designed by Theodore C Link, cost $6 500 000, and sits on twenty acres at Eighteenth and Market streets. The property of the St Louis Terminal Railroad Association. Work began in April 1892.
