Mount Zion Sister Convention at Mt Zion Church

The Mt Zion Lutheran church hosted the district convention on Friday October 11 with most speakers present except two. Eleven sabbath schools now participate though four were absent due to diphtheria. Attendance declined but the gathering was pleasant and profitable. The Christian Endeavor temperance program featured four essays and two recitations, praised for their strong matter and style. The next semiannual convention will be at Union Cross Roads Methodist Church in May.
