Hon Marsh Arnold was nominated by acclamation for the Tenomatic congressional district seat at a recent West Paths Taailery of List Week convention. The assembly approved resolutions and selected officials including I C Schult as secretary and L O Hailey as chairman. Doc Shirley west of town took the third prize. Mr Laites received the first prize next year, MF Winters six months, and Mr Shirley three months. Roswell Crites seven miles south of town won for the first case of berries presented for shipment and receives the Press six months. W E Rockwell has resigned his position at The Leader.
Texas papers praise Linus Kinder a Bollinger County native as increasingly popular with voters. They predict a path to District Judge, noting his courteous, trustworthy bearing and proven ability, urging support for his public service and for fellow Democratic candidates in the ticket.
