Mrs Cynthia R Bowman passed away at her son Miles W Bowman’s Cape Girar Hear home on Friday December 11 1896 after a brief illness Born June 2 1829 to David and Cynthia Kinder who came from North Carolina She joined the M E church early and married Groves W Bowman in 1849 They lived through the Civil War era raising their family She leaves two sisters two sons and eleven grandchildren to mourn her loss and the obituary notes a sermon by Rev M T grandson of a pioneer preacher who lived in infancy
