Maj Anderson was on the streets Friday. Pete Elderacher of Marble Hill spent part of the week here. Harry McManus and Bunyard were seen on the streets Friday and Saturday. Hog buying has been active for two weeks. Joe Caldwell was in town Sunday. A small runaway caused little damage on Monday. Dr Loges mentioned in brief note.
In Whitewater a Dec 10 box supper supported Stroderville school library plans. About nine dollars cash plus promises enable purchasing around twenty five good literature volumes. Postmaster Symons offers to donate books from his library. The appeal urges every Old Bollinger teacher to begin a library at no cost beyond careful lending and returning.
The advertisement promotes SIMMONS LIVER REGULATOR as a safe purgative alterative and tonic for liver and bilious complaints. It claims relief for dullness, headaches, poor appetite, coated tongue, and indigestion with a dose at night for better sleep, urging use at home to save doctor bills. J. H.
