J T Wells in St Louis County court to convene Monday week. Notes say probate court to meet May 11 and local items include court activity in St Genevieve and Perry county visits. Numerous short notices about people, sales, and local business appear throughout.
Farmers busy planting corn. Lawyers Morgan and Caldwell seen in town. Charles Oswald ill, treated by Dr. Finney. Ebenez er preaching trip failed as the preacher didn’t come. W. F. Saddler marries Mollie Casady. friends wish them happiness. Dr. Finney buys Laflin Masonic brick and plans a store in Owburg with a drugstore. Death reported for Geo Posten near Laflin. mourned as a good boy.

Marble Hill Missouri on Saturday June 6, Vig Debrock and Jacob Shell plus Henry Shell of Shepherdsville are summoned to appear at the next term of court to be begun at Marble Hill Court House on the second Monday in September next with the defendant required to appear or plead.
On the Monday of September next the term extends to the sixth day if continued. If not, on or before the last day of Gail Tenn, answer the petition.
