C L Talley of Fredericktown representing Jackson Marble Works was in Marble Hil and vicinity last week. He bought a horse from Edgar Bair, a nearby farmer, Mr. and Mrs Saund. McMinn traveled to St Louis last Saturday. First McMinn plans a week to ten days at his sister Mrs Er B Mayfield home while Mr McMinn plans to join others likely on a trip to Oklahoma as an underscored party.

TaYLon Mercantile Co and Prosecuting Attorney J M Robins visited Dongola on Monday to handle a case involving Henry Hart charged with campion assault aided by his step daughter as prosecuting witness. Hart was convicted and sentenced to 50 days in jail.
