Clarence Eddy Brewer, 20, of Phelps City, died at Ensworth hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri, after his Ford sedan was struck by a Burlington train at a crossing on the outskirts. He had fractured limbs and a severe brain concussion and was returning from hotel services when the accident occurred. Survived by his parents Mr and Mrs George W Brewer of Phelps City and three siblings Robert B and James R Brewer of Rock Port, Missouri and Mrs Jennie Murphy of Oakdale, California.
