Layman's Day at Local Methodist Church Highlights Lay Leaders

The church observed Layman's Day with a morning worship led by Lay Leader Theo Bender and a program of readings solos and addresses. Visitors included Leo Dillon from Green Valley who spoke on the United Evangelistic Mission. Statements on building the Kingdom were given by Bender Harold Herrman and Reuben Golden.

Forman Baseball Boys Honored At Broadman Home

The Forman baseball boys were honored Tuesday evening October 28 at the Broadman home after winning the Mason County and Abe Lincoln championships without defeat. They enjoyed fried fish potato salad baked beans bread and soda. Tables in school colors showcased a centerpiece cake by Mrs. Christine Johnson reading Congratulations Mason County and Abe Lincoln Champs. Family Night at Forest City Federated Church

The first family church night at Forest City Federated Church will be held Thursday evening November 6 at the Baptist Church. A 6:30 basket dinner is arranged by Mrs. Mabel Maxwell's Sunday school class, followed by a program in the church auditorium. Rev.
