Millions Diein War and Traffic Toll Highlighted
This life sacrificed to carelessness was snuffed out in an automobile accident in late 1951. Earlier another unknown died in Korea. GI X became the millionth U S soldier to die for his country since Lexington. It took seven wars and Korea to reach a million military deaths and fifty two years for another million to die in traffic. About 35 million more were injured or disfigured.
